The Mouth

The mouth is where the first stage of mechanical and chemical digestion happen. Mechanical digestion happen when you collapse booth of your teeth sets together and chew the food. The tongue also helps in the mechanical digestion by movinbg the food around. Chemical digestion happen when saliava start merging with the food to soften it and cover it with a slim cover that helps it to slide down easier. The mouth also is used for realeasing the air that is trapped inside you and it is used for speaking as well.
